The Lands of Ferox is a fantasy anthology series, which incorporates the D&D world, characters, and stories I have been creating for the last seven years. Every action taken by a main character is met with a d20 roll, including combat, persuasion, stealth, and everything in between. The success or failure of the results drives the books towards the end, meaning that there were times when I didn’t know if our protagonists would succeed.

My first novel 'Dead Surprise' features a disgraced detective Cassanderea, who partners with Krici, a naive mage in the city of OKenhiem, where the duo discovers the body of a woman who’s shocked expression eerily mirrors the case that had Cassandera discredited. Krici meanwhile finds herself embroiled in illicit dealings, midnight battles, and avoiding the anti-mage militia.

With the fate of the city left to the hands of a dice, there may only be a 1 in 20 chance to succeed.
